I did finally get my 30 Day Shred dvd, but I have decided that I'm going to wait until Tuesday to start it.. I weighed & measured myself last week on Monday, so I figure that by waiting to start the dvd I will be able to tell how much weight I have lost in the past week without doing any exercise. Exciting, right?? I am so not looking forward to the amount of pain I will have to go through with the workout dvd.. >_< And I have lost weight since Monday, so I will most definitely update you guys on that!!
Right now I am doing what most people are probably doing right now... Watching the Superbowl! I am definitely one of those people that don't watch football at all during the normal season, but will most likely watch the Superbowl. We're not doing anything special for it, no parties or extra people over.. just quiet. I am hopeful that the underdogs will win this one, the Steelers have won more than their own fair share of Superbowls in the last few years... GO GREENBAY!!!
I am also looking forward to finally getting some new GLEE, it's on right after the game! WOOT WOOT.
Weight Goals...
I have decided to set myself some weight loss goals, once I receive my 30 Day Shred workout dvd in the mail (later this week) before I work out for the first time using it, I am going to take couple "before" photos, weight myself, take a few body measurements, this will be the starting point. I will set my goal for weight loss as losing 2 pounds per week, at that rate I will lose at least 8 pounds a month. I want to lose about 30 pounds, so if I reach my goal every month, it should take about 4 months. that would be JUNE... SWIMSUIT SEASON. That's pretty motivating!
I don't want to have to purchase a gym membership to reach these goals, it's costly and I don't really have the money for it. There are a few things I will need to buy though, I definitely need to purchase myself some new athletic shoes (my old ones are torn!) and I'll probably purchase some hand weights to use with the 30 Day Shred workouts. I'll try to keep the costs down, but buying healthy food to eat does get kinda of expensive!! I'm trying to eat lots of fruits and veggies. I've had salad 3 times this week. I'm going to try only buying the weight watchers endorsed frozen meals, when I need to have something to eat on my lunch break at work.
I am already paying more attention to when I am actually hungry, versus when I am just eating because I need something to do. I'm also paying more attention to the amount of food I eat, trying to make sure I am not eating past the point of my stomach telling me that it's full. Hopefully, all these little things I am doing, will all add up to some big weight loss. =) Wish me luck. I am also thinking about doing a weekly blog weigh-in type of post....... I'm not sure yet.

Support Push For Pita

I don't know if you have ever visited the Run With Scissors blog ( I've had it bookmarked for a long time!!), the blog owner is currently raising money to cover adoption fees so that her and her significant other will be able to begin the process of adopting a baby!! They are hoping to have all the necessary money raised by the end of February and there are many, many ways that you can help. You can purchase an item from her etsy shop (lots of people have donated items just for this, and 100% of the profits from the sale of the items will go for this cause), you can sign-up and participate in an online journal class, or you can just plain donate a few dollars to her through paypal. For details and more information, click to visit her blog!
Thanks for reading! =)
30 Day Shred
I finally did it, I just purchased Jillian Michael's "30 Day Shred" dvd on ebay for a mere $9, it should be here by the end of the week. I read a lot of the reviews of this dvd on Amazon and it while a mega ton of people absolutely love this workout dvd, almost all of the reviews say that I'm going to be experiencing pain and soreness for days after working out, OUCH. Hah.. they all say that it's do-able and it gets much easier if you stick with it though. I'll make sure to do my first workout at a time when I have the entire next day off work to recover!!
I'm looking forward to getting some exercise, I'm going to force myself to get through the workout (its only 20 minutes) and then do it again the next day.And repeat. If I do that, I can do anything!!

Zoya Polish - Giselle
I can't believe I haven't posted more photos of my Zoya polishes than this... how insane. Remember, I swore off buying any new nail polishes last October and I still have MANY, MANY more polishes that I have yet to post photos of on this blog. Oh Yeah, there's a good reason I swore off buying any more polishes. lol.
This is Zoya's polish #ZP356 called "Giselle", it would be absolutely perfect to use on a french manicure, it's almost clear with just a very slight color tint, and it actually just makes your real nails look that much healthier. I usually try to stay away from just wearing a clear polish, or a very light colored polish, but I don't mind wearing this particular shade. By the way, I don't own a topcoat of Zoya, so I am wearing a coat of my Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polish in "clearly quick" (it really does dry super fast!!) on the top.
