Oddness.

So I was craving coffee all of a sudden (i don't really drink coffee, maybe once every 3 or 4 months?) so I made a partial pot and drank all of it! It was almost 3 cups worth of coffee, with cream and sugar. Oh, it was good :) I could actually drink even more coffee right now, but I'm not going to brew any more of it. Just thought I'd share that!

My Exciting News...

I know I've taken forever to post about this and I've been seriously slacking lately in the blogging department buuuuuuuuuuut........... here's my exciting news!

This Just In!!!

I am now working 6 days NEXT week too! OMG! Haha, I don't know why I do this to myself, I said I would do it and then immediately regretted that decision =/ Oh well, bigger paycheck! o_O

I'll try to come back a little later tonight and do a post with a little more words in it ;)

Super Busy!

I think I've already mentioned that I'm working 6 days this week, holy craps! I'm kinda bummed out that I'm gonna miss the new episode of Glee tomorrow night *hah, you getting sick of me talking about that show yet???* but I may be able to get my mom to record it for me! I hope!

The grad party yesterday was a little boring, the food was good, but it was mainly a bunch of older people discussing the weather and all the rain we've been having *yawn*.. I stayed there for way too long, it started at 2 (but I was there at 1 to help with the balloons) and we didn't eat til after 3, presents weren't opened until 5. So it was 6 by the time I left there! My goodness! That was such a long time! But my friend was really glad that I had come so that makes it all worth it!

Anyway, like I said, I'm super busy this week. Probably won't get any of my blog memes posted this week, I have an exciting announcement to make that I'll hopefully be able to get some time to post about this week, otherwise it will be soon enough!

Grad Party Tomorrow!

Yeah, I've been MAJORLY slacking in the blogging department, and well... sorry to tell you guys but it's going to get worse before it gets better! I work 6 days next week (sure, I volunteered myself for more hours, but still!) so have no fear, even with the extreme lack of blogging, I'm still okay!

Tomorrow, aka my one day off, I'm attending my friend's grad party, she's graduating with her masters degree! So she's having a huge get together at her house, complete with tons of food... BBQ,  cake, etc! and and I'm really looking forward to going! Even if she happens to be the only person I actually know at the party! LOL. I'm mostly excited about just hanging out and eating. And I bought a 6 pack of Bacardi Raz so I'm looking forward to that too! I just really want to enjoy my day off, you know? I may take along my camera and get a few pics for "straight from the camera sunday" and try to get those posted by tomorrow night. No promises on that one though!

Straight From The Camera Sunday

And just so I don't forget... Happy Mother's Day!! (these pictures have absolutely nothing to do with motherhood.. ;) (so sorry this is posting so late, i had it schedule to post at 6am but it decided that it didn't want to... =/)

Lists to Live By.

Mom and I spent HOURS today going to a lot of yard/garage sales, I mostly bought books. One of the books is called "Lists to Live By" and I bought it for 50 cents! Woo! But I thought I'd share one of the lists in sort of a tribute to Mother's Day.

Nine Words.
Never forget the nine most important words of any family.

You are beautiful.

Please forgive me.

I hope everyone has a lovely Mother's Day, if you get the chance you can stop by tomorrow to see my "straight from the camera Sunday" post :) But if not, that's okay too!

Help Out Nashville Flood Victims

By now, I'm sure you've heard about the massive flooding in Nashville, whether it was by the news or by visiting a blog owned by someone who was a victim to the flooding..... So, how can we help? I thought I'd list a few ways :)

Redcross
The Red Cross has been in Nashville, Tennessee operating shelters, providing water to the needy, and offering additional assistance as needed. You may offer cash assistance to the Red Cross or specifically to the Nashville Chapter. The Red Cross prefers cash donations which they use to purchase supplies and aid.

You may contribute to the Nashville Area Red Cross by texting 90999 on your telephone. Your bill will be charged $10.00 and this gives a $10.00 contribution to the Nashville Red Cross. You may also call and make a donation by phone at 1- 615-250-4300. If you would like to send a check you may do so here: 2201 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203. With the current flooding situation, you may find that text is the quickest method available.
Donate:
If you can spare a little money please make a donation! If you live in the Nashville area there are many organizations looking for volunteers to help with everything, so donate your time too!! Here's a great site with lots of info: nashvillest.com

Please help out in whatever way you can!!

Anticipation...

I'm waiting for my brand new Fuji Mini 7s instant camera, a present to myself, to be delivered! It should be arriving on Thursday 5/6 and it looks just like this:

Don't you just love getting exciting things in the mail??

Post It Note Tuesday!

Straight From The Camera Sunday

More pictures of junk around my house, lol. I now feel like I'm under attack by mosquitos!

Buy Me This, K?

This is a Fuji Film Instax Mini 25 Instant Film Camera, picture from techpin.com

For some reason I am VERY interested in instant film cameras now, just out of the blue this desire to own one hits me. The film is kinda expensive though?? Basically $1 per photo, for serious?????? I only found this orange one, also known as the Checki 25, on ebay.

This is the Fuji Film Mini 7s Camera in pink, which I'd also settle for :)

Polaroid is bringing the instant camera revolution back, in a couple months every one in their bloody mind is going to be wanting to buy cameras like these, haha. I'm going to keep a close watch on eBay to see if I can find one for a super good deal (most on there now are anywhere from $70++) and I'd also like to find one that isn't located in Hong Kong... because it takes too long to get anything from there!

**EDIT** I just found the pink camera for a great deal at uniquephoto.com, it was $59.95 and I also bought 2 twin packs of film for  $13.60 each (which amounts to about 61 cents a photo!) I found it as a wonderful deal and used some of the money from my tax refund to buy it as a present for myself =D Hah, Now I will wait in anticipation for it to be delivered!
