Zoya # ZP470 Malia

Malia is a pastel purple color that I think is perfect for Spring. And for Easter =) Hope you all have a Hoppy Easter!!

Zoya Nail Polish Exchange

Zoya is hosting an awesome nail polish exchange program in honor of Earth Day, here's how it works.. you pick out Zoya nail polishes (at least 6 of them) and pay $4 each, which includes shipping & processing (and is half the regular price of each polish!!) they ship them to you. And then you choose an equal number of your old nail polishes and ship them back to Zoya for them to dispose of. It's a pretty sweet deal and I've participated in the program in the past. I love Zoya polishes and I would totally take advantage of this deal if "do not buy nail polish" wasn't on the list of things for me to accomplish before my birthday! Hah.. See, I'm being good and following my own goals. It's a GREAT deal and it's good for the environment too, so I encourage everyone to participate!!

Zoya Polish - Giselle

I can't believe I haven't posted more photos of my Zoya polishes than this... how insane. Remember, I swore off buying any new nail polishes last October and I still have MANY, MANY more polishes that I have yet to post photos of on this blog. Oh Yeah, there's a good reason I swore off buying any more polishes. lol.

This is Zoya's polish #ZP356 called "Giselle", it would be absolutely perfect to use on a french manicure, it's almost clear with just a very slight color tint,  and it actually just makes your real nails look that much healthier. I usually try to stay away from just wearing a clear polish, or a very light colored polish, but I don't mind wearing this particular shade. By the way, I don't own a topcoat of Zoya, so I am wearing a coat of my Sally Hansen Insta-Dry polish in "clearly quick" (it really does dry super fast!!) on the top.

Zoya #ZP322 - Willow

Yet another of my many Zoya polishes, this one is called Willow and I like the color because it's neutral, but still with a little color :) if I'm going to paint my nails, I want you to be able to tell there's polish on them! hehe

Layered Polish #2

I'm really enjoying experimenting with nail polish by layering one color over another. This time I put on Zoya #ZP356 Giselle.. here's what that looks like:

It's a very neutral colored polish, and then I put on a layer of my CoverGirl 3-in-1 Continuous Color (I believe this line has been discontinued!) in #046 Crushed Pearls, and here's the result:

The Crushed Pearls just added a slight hint of color, and I don't know if you can tell it from the picture but it also added a lot of shimmer! I like the outcome a lot, I've had this polish on for about 5 days now and it's still looking great!

Current Nail Color: Layered Look

Okay, please forgive my crappy nail polish job, lol. This is Sinful Colors in "Under 18"

and then w/ a layer of Zoya's "ROXY" over it, pic taken after I did a little cleaning up of my mess!

and Ta Da, New Years nails! Not that I did anything exciting for New Years, but at least my nails look like I did =P

ZOYA Polish: Irene #ZP426

Thought I'd get in the Christmas spirit and wear some green nail polish =) Happy Holidays!!

ZOYA Polish: ROXY

This is the polish I had on before the polish I'm currently wearing (the sinful colors polish in the last entry) this is Zoya #ZP263 called "Roxy". Sort of a pinkish purple with glitter, looks pretty but was pretty difficult to remove with all that glitter! You can buy Zoya products online @ http://www.artofbeauty.com they retail for about $7 each.
